Firm launches new Charlotte office location with Software-dedicated team;
Daniel Kim joins Bishop as Associate
RF Investment Partners, a provider of structured growth capital, announced today significant developments in its platform growth, including the addition of senior talent and a newly established Charlotte, NC office.
The new Charlotte location strategically positions the firm to continue effectively sourcing and helping grow founder-owned businesses. Leading in the new office, James Bishop joins the RF team as Director with Daniel Kim as Associate. They both have experience partnering with management teams of fast-growing software companies and will be pivotal in continuing to drive RF’s focus in the software space.

James Bishop will lead the Charlotte office for the firm and help strengthen RF’s software investing efforts and capabilities by bringing nearly ten years of expertise from his sector-rich background. As a senior investment leader at Golub Growth, the growth-stage software investing arm of Golub Capital, James was responsible for originating, executing, and helping monitor the firm’s equity and debt investments into growth-stage, mission-critical software applications.

Daniel will be responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities, investment due diligence, and monitoring portfolio companies. Prior to joining RF, Daniel worked as a Growth Equity Analyst at Frontier Growth.
