RF Investment Partners (“RF”) is excited to announce its newest investment team member, Jacob Gordon, who has joined as Director. Previously, Jacob was a Principal at North Atlantic Capital, a late-stage venture capital firm where he invested in growing software companies. Jacob will help originate and evaluate investments and will work closely with portfolio companies to accelerate growth.
RF Announces Emphasis on Software Investing
RF invests in capital efficient software companies that are between $5 million and $15 million of ARR and seeking $5 million to $25 million of flexible growth capital that is less dilutive than traditional growth equity. RF has made 3 software investments since 2018 (out of 12 total investments). Investing in software and software-enables services businesses will be a growing focus for RF.
RF’s has assembled a strategic advisory board that includes several successful software operators, specifically Ben Harrison (Co-Founder, President of DealCloud) Travis Janovich, (Founder, CEO of eTix), and Seth Flam (Co-Founder, CEO of Foresee). These advisory board members help RF portfolio companies with developing go-to-market strategies, enhancing product development initiatives and building out management teams.
RF Adds Leviathan Winn to Advisory Board
Leviathan Winn, Global CFO of Taco Bell, has joined RF’s Strategic Advisory Group. Before joining Taco Bell, he was the Head of Strategic Development in the Consumer Bank at JP Morgan Chase. Previously, Leviathan spent time in private equity and was a restructuring and corporate finance consultant with McKinsey & Company. Leviathan has experience as both operator and investor in middle market companies, having served as CFO and board member of a lower middle market restaurant chain previously owned by Brinker International (NYSE: EAT).
